Biography: 

He has recieved his M.Sc. in Mathematics from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur in 2011. His research interest includes theoretical understanding of Saffman-Taylor instability in miscible systems in the the presence of the Korteweg stress. His PhD fellowship is sponsored by the National Board for Higher Mathematics (NBHM), DAE, Govt. of India. Also selected for CSIR and DST-INSPIRE PhD fellowships. He has submitted his Ph.D. thesis on October 5, 2015.
 
Awards: 
1. Outstanding poster award at the School on hands-on research in complex systems, ICTP, June 14 - July 11, 2014.
2. International travel grant from NBHM for attending the international conference EFMC9 at Rome, Italy, 2012.
3. Partial travel support from the organizers to attend the internation conference FLOW14 at the University of Twente, The Netherlands, 2014.
4. Partial travel suppport from the ICTP for attending the school on hands-on research in complex systems at the ICTP, 2014.
5. Awarded with INSTITUTE SILVER MEDAL for the academic year 2010-2011 on being adjudged to be the best student in order of merit among   the students graduating with M.Sc. in Mathematics from IIT KHARAGPUR.
6. Recipient of UGC PG MERIT SCHOLARSHIP FOR THE UNIVERSITY RANK HOLDERS 2009-2011.
7. Selected for the DST-INSPIRE Ph.D. fellowship - 2012.
