Vikrant Khullar

Vikrant holds B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering from P.T.U. and has been pursuing PhD at IIT Ropar since 2010. He has been working since then to use numerical tools as well as experimental techniques to harness solar energy using nanofluid-based direct absorption techniques. His interests are in the field of solar energy, heat transfer applications of nanoparticles, biomass gasification. Recently, Vikrant was chosen as one of the four 'UNSW-IIT Ropar Sustainable Energy Fellows' and consequently was selected to attend the Joint Workshop held at UNSW (University of New South Wales), Sydney, Australia during Apr 2012.
