About IAC @IIT Ropar: The objective of the Conclave is to bring together experts from the industry and R&D organizations to discuss prime issues concerning industry and academia based on current societal requirement. We seek to explore avenues of possible fusion pertaining to research and consultancy, as well as find plausible solutions to bridge corporate expectation with academic training.

The theme of this conclave is ‘innovation through partnership.’ We are requesting many companies both from all over India and local ones. Some of the focuses of this concave are mentioned here:

1.What kind of challenges the companies are facing in their R&D?

2. How academia could help in addressing these?

3.What kind of expertise do industries expect from recent graduates in mechanical?

4.How to develop future entrepreneurs from students?

5.How to create partnership between industry and                   academia?
