IIT Ropar Ranked 9th in India Rankings 2016 in Engineering by the HRD Ministry

The Indian Institute of Technology, Ropar has been ranked no. 9 among various research & teaching institutes in the country in the India Rankings 2016 by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), Ministry of Human Resource Development at a function in New Delhi on April 4, 2016. The India Rankings 2016 is the first-of-its-kind indigenous ranking framework for higher education institutions. The first set of the awards were presented by Hon’ble Union Human Resource Development Minister SmritiIrani.

IIT Ropar stands at the Ninth position with weighted score of 74.89. Its rank on different  parameters are as follows:
