Condolence message from IIT Ropar

With profound grief, IIT Ropar fraternity condoles the sad demise of our beloved former President Bharat Ratna Shri A. P. J. Abdul Kalam.

People’s President, Kalam sir, Missile man; these were not just mere adjectives but were symbolic of the love and affection that the people of this country had for President Kalam. He was an exemplary scientist and an uncommon man with a knack to work endlessly till the goal is reached. His greatest achievement though has been to inspire and enthuse the minds of millions of Indians, particularly the younger generation. Let us all, at IIT Ropar, take a resolve to continue to work on his guided path, which will be the most appropriate tribute to President Kalam.
