2	Weighing Type Lysimeter	The weighing lysimeter is commonly used for the precise monitoring soil water movement however they can also be used in nutrient and chemical monitoring
3	Sieve Shaker Apparatus	Sieve is the chief apparatus required for conducting the sieve analysis. Generally, a sieve may be understood as an apparatus similar to a utensil that essentially consists of a wire or plastic mesh held in a frame used for separating coarser particles from the finer particles.
4	Tilting Flume 15 meter	Tilting flume consists of a channel of size as in specifications. At the inlet a flow steadying section is provided so that there will be fewer disturbances at the test section. The gates provided at the upstream & downstream of the test section help to regulate the depth of flow. Depth measurements can be achieved with the help of a hook or point gauge mounted on a trolley which gives longitudinal and transverse movement. The slope of the bed can be adjusted to give positive or negative slopes.
5	Water Level Indicator Apparatus – Piezometer	The standpipe piezometer consists of a filter tip joined to a riser pipe. The filter has 60 to 70 micron pores and is made from polyethylene or porous stone. The riser pipe is typically made from PVC plastic pipe. A water level indicator is used to monitor the piezometric water level
