Penetration Testing ApparatusBitumen Penetration Test Apparatus are used for testing bitumen, tar, cement and soils. A Chosen force is applied over a given area for a known period of time and the depth of penetration or the depression made in the sample is measured in tenths of a millimeter which is expressed as a penetration number.
Ductility Testing ApparatusThe ductility of bitumen may vary from 5 to over 100 for different bitumen grades, but for satisfactory performance, it should not be less than 50. The ductility of bitumen is dependent upon pouring temperature, dimensions of the briquette, test temperature, the rate of pulling, etc.
Ring and ball apparatusThe softening point test is the temperature at which the substance attains a particular degree of softening under the specified conditions of the test. The apparatus used to determine softening point of bitumen is RING AND BALL assembly. The softening point of various bitumen grades generally lies between 35°C to 70°C.
Absolute viscosity by capillary viscometer ApparatusTo determine the absolute viscosity of bitumen and cutbacks. In this practical, the absolute viscosity is determined by vacuum capillary viscometers at any stated temperature. This method is valid for materials having a viscosity range of 42-200000 poises. Important Terms related to Absolute Viscosity of Bitumen.
Tar Viscometer ApparatusTar Viscometer apparatus is manufacturer as per IP 72 and is 1206 standards. It is used for determination of the viscosity of road oils and cut back bitumen. It consists S.S. Bath with cup of 10 mm or 4mm orifice and sleeve, Stirrer with lifting clip and ball. The assembly kept on Suitable stand with levelling Screws. Suitable to operate on 220 Volts AC Mains.
Flash & Fire Point Testing Apparatus (Open & Closed Cup)Flash and Fire Point Test of Bitumen is used to determine the safe temperature up to which bitumen sample can be exposed. The Procedure, Result, Significance, Conclusion are described in this test.
Marshall Stability Testing ApparatusMarshall Stability Test Apparatus are used for the measurement of resistance to plastic flow of cylindrical specimens of bituminous paving mixtures when tested in a marshal load frame. Test specimens are produced and tested at a speed of 50.8mm/min.The maximum load (stability) and deformation (flow) of the specimen are recorded.
Benkelman Beam ApparatusThe apparatus is used to measure the deflection of flexible pavements under the axion of moving wheel loads. In operation the beam is placed between the tyres of the test vehicle and in contact with the pavement. The deflection is measured as the vehicle passes over the test area. The probe is 2440 mm long and the back extension is 1220 mm.
Aggregates Impact Tester ApparatusThe Aggregate Impact Test Apparatus Value (AIV) Apparatus is used to determine the aggregate impact value which provides a relative measure of the resistance of an aggregate to sudden shock or impact. The counter fitted to the machine automatically records the number of blows delivered to the sample.
Los Angeles Abrasion Tester ApparatusThe Los Angeles Machine comprises a heavy steel cylinder, rotated about its horizontal axis. The cylinder incorporates a removable internal shelf, as specified in the ASTM and EN test methods
Aggregates Crushing Value ApparatusThis crushing index test apparatus is used to test the fine aggregate crushing resistance so as to evaluate the aggregate road construction applicability.
Laboratory CBR ApparatusThe laboratory CBR apparatus consists of a mould of 150 mm diameter with a base plate and a collar, a loading frame and dial gauges for measuring the penetration values and the expansion on soaking
Bouncy Balance ApparatusThe Buoyancy Balance consists of a rigid support Frame, incorporating a Water Tank, mounted on a platform. Mechanical lifting device is used to raise the Water Tank thru the Frame height immersing the specimen suspended below the balance. The Balance supplied may also be used as a standard weighing system in the laboratory.
Sieve Analysis Apparatus  (300 mm  & 450 mm dia)Sieve shakers are used for separation and size determination of particles. A typical sieve shaker separates particles by passing them through a series of chambers with mesh filters and agitating the sample in order to obtain complete separation.
Beam Scale Weighing Balance Apparatus – 5 kg capacityIt is used to measure the accurate weight of the cement, aggregate, sand and other materials used in concrete. it can measure up to 5 kg with a least count of 0.1gm
Beam Scale Weighing Balance Apparatus – 500 gm capacityIt is used to measure the accurate weight of the cement, aggregate, sand and other materials used in concrete. it can measure up to 500 gm  with a least count of 0.001gm
Beam Scale Weighing Balance Apparatus – 20 kg capacityIt is used to measure the accurate weight of the cement, aggregate, sand and other materials used in concrete. it can measure up to 20kg with a least count of 0.5gm
Constant Temperature Water Bath Apparatus Cap. 12 L,  20 L & 30 LA water bath is laboratory equipment made from a container filled with heated water. It is used to incubate samples in water at a constant temperature over a long period of time.
Hot Air Oven ApparatusLaboratory Ovens have been designed for drying asphalt, soil, rock, concrete, aggregate or similar materials. 50, 120, 250, 500 and 750 litter capacity models are available. Temperature range is from ambient to 300°C. The interior is manufactured from stainless steel and the exterior is robustly constructed from sheet steel finished in powder coated paint.
Compression Testing Machine
(Microprocessor controlled inbuilt touch control)
The digital compression testing machine has been designed to meet the need for a simple, economic and reliable means to test concrete for its compressive strength The design expressive of simplicity, both of construction and operation, makes the machine easy to use and maintain
Modified Roughness MERLIN ApparatusModified Roughness Indicating machine is a simple machine to measure roughness, also called MERLIN – Machine for Evaluating Roughness using low-cost Instrumentation. The device can be used either for direct measurement or for calibrating other instruments such as the Vehicle Mounted Bump Integrator.
Bituminous Asphalt Mixing ApparatusBituminous Asphalt Mixing Apparatus used for the mixing of asphalt materials.
Pavement Core Drilling MachineThe Pavement Core Drilling Machine is used for the purpose to drill the test scores from or holes in bridges, roads, airport runways, etc. Pavement Core Drilling Machine comprised of two vertical support columns with the screwed spindle that help to carry the Drill head/Engine assembly.
Bitumen Centrifuge ExtruderThe Centrifuge extractor is used for the determination of bitumen percentage in bituminous mixtures.
