About the Conference

Welcome to PHYCON-26, The National Physics Conference! Hosted at IIT Ropar, Punjab, this national gathering brings together researchers, academicians, and students to engage with contemporary developments in both theoretical and experimental physics. By fostering scientific dialogue and innovation, PHYCON-26 continues to strengthen physics as a driving force behind discovery and technological progress.

Held annually, PHYCON serves as a collaborative platform for exchanging ideas, presenting recent research, and exploring emerging directions in physics. The conference showcases advances in light–matter interactions, quantum information science, condensed matter physics, materials research, nuclear and particle physics, and gravity and string theory.

With a focus on nurturing young talent, PHYCON-26 seeks to inspire early-career researchers, particularly PhD students, to pursue rigorous and creative research in India. Participants will have opportunities to interact with leading physicists and industry professionals through plenary talks, while sharing their work through oral and poster presentations. Through collaboration and knowledge exchange, PHYCON-26 aims to contribute meaningfully to the future of scientific research in the country.

Join us at PHYCON-26 as we come together to celebrate the spirit of physics and its endless possibilities!
