Highlights of the Conference
PHYCON-25, held at IIT Ropar on 21–22 March 2025, marked a significant milestone in the institute’s scientific journey, bringing together over 250+ researchers, academicians, and students from across India.
The conference was graced by eminent speakers — Prof. S. B. Ogale, Prof. Anand Kumar Jha, Prof. M. Krishnamurthy, Prof. Peter Kruse, and Prof. Raghunath Sahoo — who delivered inspiring plenary talks across diverse frontiers of physics.
The event was inaugurated under the leadership of Prof. Rajeev Ahuja, Director of IIT Ropar, whose vision for interdisciplinary research and innovation set the tone for the conference.
