Copyright: The Central Library, IIT Ropar, licenses electronic resources for teaching, research and private study of the IIT Ropar community. The Central Library has signed institutional license agreements with publishers and consortia to provide access to full-text for fair use only.

Copyright Restrictions: All the users of library resources of IIT Ropar must adhere to copyright laws of publishers and consortia. No copyrighted work may be copied, published, disseminated, displayed, performed, without permission of the copyright holder except in accordance with fair use or licensed agreement. This includes DVDs/CDs and other copyrighted material. IIT Ropar may terminate the online access of users who are found to have infringed copyright.

Licensing Restrictions: Electronic resources subscribed by IIT Ropar are restricted to users of IIT Ropar by license agreement for the purposes of research, teaching, and private study. Using these resources for commercial purpose, systematic downloading, copying or distributing of information is expressly prohibited.

Can make limited print/electronic copies	Cannot share resources with non-IIT Ropar community
Can use for teaching, research, discussion, and other academic purposes	Cannot do systematic or substantial downloading, copying, printing etc.
Can send/post links	Cannot sell/re-distribute the content to outsiders
Can share with professional community	Cannot publish in other websites/blogs/forums
