Dr. Navaneeth K. Marath is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at IIT Ropar. He earned his PhD in Engineering Mechanics from JNCASR, Bangalore (2010-2017), and then moved to the Nordic Institute for Theoretical Physics (NORDITA), Stockholm, as a Postdoctoral Research Associate from 2017 to 2020.
His research is in Fluid Mechanics, with special focus on theoretical and computational aspects. In particular, he works on fluid dynamics of suspensions and flow through porous media.
