Dr. Asoka Biswas received her Ph.D in Physics in 2005 from Physical Research Laboratory, India, specialising in physical implementation of quantum computation and information. She held a post-doctoral fellowship under the Women in Science and Engineering (WiSE) programme at the University of Southern California, followed by a Prize Post-doctoral Fellowship at the University of Toronto. She is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics, IIT Ropar.
